The Air 9 exemplifies high performance at O2 weights with the custom butted and drawn Easton Scandium GX2 geared only frame.
While the Air 9 is based on Niner's award winning One 9, they didn't just simply put a derailleur hanger and a standard bottom bracket into the One 9. They redesigned the frame from the ground up with an all new proprietary Easton GX2 tubeset. Everything from the drop outs to the head tube was re-examined for maximum weight savings while still maintaining the strength and ride quality that is paramount to all Niner frames.
